About the Role
شركة العوجان للمرطبات is seeking a Branch Accountant to serve as the primary financial officer for its sales branch in Hafar Al Batin, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires a professional to accurately and timely execute all financial operations at the branch level, ensuring adherence to internal controls and providing clear financial insights.
Role Overview
The Branch Accountant will be the main financial point of contact within the branch, responsible for ensuring commercial teams comply with approved financial frameworks and that financial data submitted within the unified reporting cycle is accurate. This role involves close collaboration with the Commercial Financial Controller to optimize working capital management and support audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions and monitoring cash and financial assignments.
- Follow up on accounts receivable and collections, managing customer balances to support cash flow improvement.
- Monitor accounts payable and coordinate with relevant departments regarding payments and financial settlements.
- Perform inventory reconciliation, verify discrepancies, and prepare necessary adjustments.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and participate in monthly and quarterly closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls, and support audit and examination processes.
- Serve as the primary financial contact for the branch and provide support to operational management.
- Supervise the team, develop their capabilities, and monitor performance to ensure continuity of financial operations.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or a related financial role. A strong understanding of financial operations, accounts receivable and payable management, and inventory reconciliation is essential. The ability to ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls is also a key requirement.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Hafar Al Batin, within the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The role is integral to the operations of the local sales branch.
